Story
As Geoff had no family and died intestate, his funeral has been arranged by his friends in InSync. The cost of the funeral has been underwritten in order to allow it to proceed. We are now asking people who knew Geoff to help recover the cost by making a contribution here.
Funerals are expensive and we need to raise over £3000. If 32 people gave £100 each, the costs would be recovered in full. Several people have already pledged this amount or greater but contributions of any amount are welcome. Please do not send flowers to the funeral, make a contribution instead!

6 years agoToday, Sunday I have reduced the target again since receiving several very generous donations through the post. We have pretty much reached the target now, in fact we may be slightly over once the deductions are made. I will leave the site active until the funeral on Thursday but there's no need for any further donations once the target is reached. Once again many thanks for all your donations and generous comments about Geoff.

6 years agoI have just reduced the target to £2630. This is to allow for all the direct donations which I have received. I hope that we can now reach this new target before Geoff's funeral next Thursday. The site continues to accept donations after the target has been reached so please don't make any donations after this happens as there is no way to refund you. We only need to raise enough to cover what has already been paid. Many thanks to everyone who has donated so far. -Rod .
