I've raised £5000 to help support the u18 Great Britain Handball Squad

For those that haven’t seen Handball it is a fast-paced team game (think Water Polo without the water or Football with your hands!) played throughout five continents by over 180 countries and 19 million people of all ages worldwide. The London 2012 Olympic Games helped to raise the profile of the sport in Great Britain, leading to the participation growing dramatically.
This young squad have proven they have what it takes to represent GB. Their hard work, determination, commitment and passion has led to their selection.
The GB Handball Program currently doesn’t receive funding from UK Sport and is predominantly self-funded, meaning it relies on the money and support from players and their families. Costs include transport (inc. flights) meals, accommodation, kit, training, competition entries and more.
The Squad have just returned from their first competition of 2019 at The European Open in Gothenburg where they took on Sweden, Czech Republic, Russia, Switzerland and Luxembourg. This experience was invaluable to their preparations for the 2020 Euro Championships, and gave them the chance to experience the game at a whole new level. An experience we are so excited to give them.
With your help the GB Program will continue to drive forward and make its mark in the Handball World. If you can spare any money to support these lads then THANK YOU....If not then thank you for reading and maybe you can share this page and help spread the word.
