Who are we?

Orchard Park High School is a small 11-16 school based in Croydon with a focus on helping each and every pupil become the best version of themselves, regardless of a child’s starting point.

The Friends of Orchard Park High is our new Parent Teacher Association group dedicated to raising money to help support all the children at the school. We are aiming to enhance all the children's experience at the school, be that to fund new rain shelters for the playground or simply provide supplies for the extensive character club programme.

Why support us?

The cost of living crisis has affected us all with pressures on everyone and prices rising rapidly. The leadership and staff at the school work tirelessly for the benefit of the students and to improve the outcomes and opportunities for the future. However, like many state schools across the country, financial pressures on the school are acute.

The Friends of OPHS are extremely conscious of the ethos and diversity of our school and are respecting this in how we approach fundraising. This page has been set up so that those who feel able, can make a direct voluntary contribution.

We also hope this page provides a vehicle for those locally to show their support for a Croydon school dedicated to improving the lives and futures of the young members of our community.

What will money raised be used for?

In 2024-25 our top priority is to support the school with the purchase of canopies for the playground, benches and outside games. We believe it's so essential for children to have time outside and canopies will allow them to continue having outside breaks even when the weather turns rainy.
