Story
This Summer Jac (at just 10 years old) made the 2600 mile round trip to Ljungskile, Sweden to compete in the RS Tera sailing world championships. Jac sailed so well that after 9 races over 4 long days on the water he won!

We would love to give him the opportunity to defend his Title next year but we have spent most of our savings giving him the opportunity to compete at this years worlds.
The 2020 worlds are soon, the beginning of April 2020 and really far away in South Africa!
So we need your help to get him there. We will need to book travel there, pay entry fees, charter a boat, hire a car, book accommodation and a support boat all will need paying for very soon. We have only just got back from this year's world's in August so haven't had any time to save up again yet.
If you can spair even £1 it will make a difference and together we/you will make a massive difference to helping Jac achieve his sailing dreams.
Jac is a very talented young sailor from North Wales, who works hard to improve all the time. He would really appreciate the opportunity to compete.

5 years agoHi everyone Thank you so much for your support We really appreciate everyone's kindness through the donations on this page. Due to the outbreak of corona virus, today the RS Tera worlds have been cancelled. We are in the process of trying to get the money back. Then we will be in a position to send refunds to those that donated. Please let me know if you would prefer a refund should it be possible or if you would like us to put your money towards Jac's next international event possibly the Europeans in Germany in July, or next year's worlds?

5 years agoThank you all so much for making it possible for Jac to get there. We are extremely grateful to all of you. We have managed to get enough money already to book the flights £2989.69! for the 4 of us which was the most time pressed thing. Jac's charter boat has also been paid for £400 we have just found out that Ffion (Jac's sister) can get a boat too which is great news. Also the forms have been fetched from the doctors for immunisations. So things are progressing nicely. Thank you. Jo
