The FLGCA is a registered charity and looks after the assets of the residents of Fairlands, Liddington Hall and Gravetts Lane. It provides a well kept playing field for the enjoyment of all and a Community Centre as a focus for local groups to meet. Exercise classes, Art Groups, Guides, Rangers, Brownies and Local interest groups all use the facilities.

The Association is financed mainly through hall hires and, since the pandemic, income has been severely reduced. During lockdowns, the facility must close completely, yet running costs continue.
