Dylan is aged 15 and a pupil at St Joseph’s Boys school Derry. Until last year Dylan was a keen runner and overall sportsman. Unfortunately Dylan was involved in a severe accident falling from a tree and is now paralysed from the waist down. He is in a wheelchair. Despite this Dylan has recently returned to school and has been in the gym doing what little physical activity he can.

Teachers Emmet Mc Ginty and Graeme Doherty are organising a 5K Run/walk event so that they can raise funds to get Dylan a ‘race chair’ so that he can return to competitive sport once again. This chair will be fully fitted to meet Dylan’s size and needs. They are priced between £5-6K. To do this we greatly require help to get Dylan his chair. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help out in any way.
