WoW and Thank you all!!!** - - What now? We're seeing if we can get up to 2700. The damage costs for repair go pretty high and as the page continues to receive donations, we'll keep it up for a bit longer incase there is more support out there. The JustGiving team are also going to spread the news IN THE PAPERS! as it has been so successful. Thanks everyone once again. This fund is truly a big backbone to getting the guys back to normality. Anything raised that exceeds repair costs will be redirected to a local charity.
Here's the story below:

My sister's house(boat) sunk over the weekend. Her belongings were flooded and a lot of work is needed to dry it out and repair and replace essential items.

This is from a post she wrote to help understand things that are now needing doing - (and will be easier with cash):

in the short term -

-helping me clean away the silt and mud and try to get her as dry as possible before too much mildew sets in.
- helping to carry things over the mud
- helping to carry a very heavy burner
- taking stuff to the dump
- storing things for me for a short while
- helping to dry out some items (I don't have any space to do this).
- taking charge of particularly tricky, wet objects:
- ukulele
- Jowan's puppets
- vinyl records
- furniture? (how do you even dry out an armchair?!)
- cleaning the bearings in Jowan's scooter
- a massage? (LOL - my back is screwed after carrying everything the last few days)
- childcare

in the longer term

- helping me pressure wash a burner
- helping me repair / coat a burner
- carpentry
- plumbing
- electrician
- painting
