Story
This is Rosie. She is a 10 year old rescue labradoodle. Just recently she has become very ill. She is insured but we have now maxed out on the payments they will make, and we still have a long way to go.
Rosie has become very weak. Following ultra sound scans and blood tests we know her heart, liver, kidneys and lungs are all fine. However, she is showing signs of a neurological disorder, as her eyes are uneven, and although her brain is processing it is slow to respond to stimuli. Her temperature keeps spiking, and she has barely eaten anything over the last week.
The next step to try and find out what is wrong is for her to have an MRI scan at a specialist vet. She is there at their hospital right now, being cared for by them, and she will have the MRI on Monday. It will cost between £3000 and £4000 with the cost of the hospitalisation and anti-biotics etc on top.
I don't ask for help very often, but I am now. This time last year we lost our other dog to diabetes and, to be perfectly honest with you, it wiped us out financially. Now we are in danger of losing this one, and it hurts. If anyone can help us we will be forever in your debt. Thank you for reading this far. Love, Eileen, Paul, Ailsa and Iain xxx
