Story

Emily Rice, a brave 18-year-old, is currently battling cancer for the second time in her young life. Despite the immense challenges she faces, she continues to fight with unwavering determination and strength. Emily's current diagnosis is a grade 4 Glioblastoma brain tumor, an aggressive and formidable foe. Remarkably, this isn't her first encounter with cancer; at the tender age of 9, she fought and conquered Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Emily's resilience and indomitable spirit shine through as she refuses to be defined by her illnesses. She exemplifies the true meaning of a fighter, inspiring those around her with her unwavering courage and unwavering determination to overcome every obstacle that comes her way.

In this challenging journey, Emily's loving father, Simon is doing everything he can to support her to ensure she receives the best care possible and everything she needs. However, the financial burden of expenses, including fuel costs and other necessary expenses, weighs heavily on his ex wife and his shoulders. Recognizing the importance of community support, Emily's father has launched a heartfelt fundraising campaign to help alleviate the financial strain.

They have just found out that life changing immunotherapy treatment is available in Germany at the whopping cost in the region of £80k , this is now the focus to raise more money and help them with ongoing costs of regular consultancies and costs of alternative medications. This treatment is state of the art and will give her the best chance possible on top of current chemotherapy and radiation
