Hi Everyone!

Following on from my Sing Every Day In May Challenge in 2020 during the first Lockdown I am looking to build on that and set myself another challenge this May to raise money for another fantastic local charity.

The challenge that I am going to give myself is to SING FOR A DAY IN MAY on Saturday the 15th of May.

The Charity I am going to try and raise some funds for are The Tranent Belters who are a charity based in Tranent who raise money to help people in and around Tranent and across East Lothian.

I am going to sing from 10am through until 8pm and sing 10 different sets within the 10 hours.

The sets I am going to sing all have themes and are as follows: -

10:00-11:00 – Unplugged (A chilled out set with just me and my guitar!)

11:00-12:00 – In The Mix (Hour 1) (A General Mix of hits that I will perform for 2 of the 10 hours.)

12:00-13:00 – Golden Oldies 1 (Going back in time with some classic tracks from swing to Motown!)

13:00-14:00 – Classic Rock (Classic rock hits to get your feet tapping!)

14:00-15:00 – Scottish (A mix of traditional songs and hits from Scottish artists.)

15:00-16:00 – Killer Queen's & Cinnamon George's (Set of hits from The Killers, Queen, Gerry Cinnamon & George Ezra!

16:00-17:00 – In The Mix (Hour 2) (A General Mix of hits that I will perform for 2 of the 10 hours.)

17:00-18:00 – Country/Nathan Carter (Nathan Carter's Country twist on some classic hits with some Country hits thrown in to compliment!)

18:00-19:00 – Neil Diamond (A tribute hour to the one and only Neil Diamond!)

19:00-20:00 – Golden Oldies 2 (Going back in time again with some classic tracks!)

I will be performing my challenge for the driveway at my house and hopefully stream it Live on Facebook.

So how can you guys help me with this challenge? Well I have a few options available to sponsor me and help me raise as much money as possible for The Tranent Belters charity. They are as follows: -

Sponsor a Song – £5 Minimum Donation

• Sponsor a song from one of the 10 sets throughout the day.

• Dean will give you a shout out and any dedications.

• A timeslot will also be provided to watch online or watch live socially distanced from main road outside Dean's house."

Sponsor a Set – £25 Minimum Donation

• Sponsor one of the 10 sets throughout the day.

• An area for up to 6 people from 6 households will be provided within Dean's property to watch the set live socially distanced.

• Pick a song from the set for Dean to perform.

• Dean will give you a shout out and any dedications."

Overall Event Sponsor – Contact Dean for details

• Overall sponsor of the event to assist with set up expenses and donation to the charity.

• Publicity on site and on social media for business by Dean during the event.

• Area to display signage/advertisement material on site (supplied by sponsor).
