The 26th January would have been my Dads 71st birthday, sadly he is no longer with us due to the horrible disease that is cancer . In honour of his birthday we are announcing that ‘The Bears Lair’ , myself and a group of friends, will be attempting ‘The Three Peaks Challenge’ in aid of charity in July this year. We will need to complete the climb of Ben Nevis , Scafel Pike and Snowdon within 24hrs and want to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research, Great Oaks Hospice and Headway. These charities are very close to all of our hearts . Each and every one of us will be or has been affected by cancer at some point in our life .

My dad battled through bowel, liver and bone cancer over 18months but sadly in the end he lost his battle.

Dad always used to be the first person to help anyone so now its our turn to help other people in this situation.

Team Bears Lair ,named after my dad (The Bear) will push ourselves to raise as much as we possibly can but we need your help ! Please do what you can and donate what you can , pass this on to friends and family ,share this post and help support this cause so close to all of us .
