This winter, Crossroads Trust alongside MDC are running The Mansfield Winter Night Shelter 2026.

The WNS will provide a safe warm space accommodating approximately 12-15 rough sleepers per night. Guests can access the shelter between 8pm ad 8am each night and will be provided with hot drinks and snacks, clothing and toiletries, a bed and breakfast before leaving in the morning.

Guests will have direct access to Mansfield District Council Homeless and Rough Sleeper staff, drug and alcohol services, registered nurses and mental health practitioners as well as trained support staff. A minimum of two support workers will be on the premises at all times, assisted by trained volunteers offering peer support, social interactions and a non judgemental listening ear as well signposting to local day time support services. £2,500
