    Story

    The Cricket Kindness Project

The Cricket Kindness Project brightens the lives of hundreds of youngsters by giving them the simple joy of access to sport. Mass quantities of age appropriate cricket equipment and playing uniforms are donated to under-resourced government primary schools, secondary schools and cricket clubs every year to help level the playing field for impoverished cricket-loving communities.

Money raised helps fund the next round of incredible cricket kindness goodwill shipments!

Our 2021 Cricket Kit Appeal is seeing vast quantities of up-cycled new & used equipment streaming in!

We are fundraising to send enormous cricket goodwill shipments to impoverished communities in Barbados, Trinidad & Guyana in coming months. If we exceed our fundraising and kit collection targets, we will also be able to help cricket-loving communities in Africa & Nepal who are desperate for assistance with kit.

During the second half of 2020, The Cricket Kindness Project collected 315 cricket bats, 520 cricket balls, 220 pairs of pads, 200 pairs of gloves, 80 cricket helmets, 300 shirts & 110 pairs of cricket shoes! Through our Just Giving campaign, this amazing mountain of kit was shipped to disadvantaged children in Antigua and Nevis at the end of 2020 and was distributed in Feb 2021!

It is hard to put into words the gratitude expressed by recipient children, school principals and physical education teachers when they are gifted proper junior and youth equipment donated through Cricket Kindness. A heartfelt thank you to all who share the Cricket Kindness dream.
