My Impossible 6: For My Wife!
After a 3 year battle with stage 4 metastatic melanoma we had the recent news that treatment hasn't worked and the disease has spread to her lungs. Now its my mission to raise money for out of reach emerging treatments for her or if the worst comes to worst it will give us the opportunity to make some lasting memories with our two girls.
I used to think hard meant a long day, a tough workout, pushing through when you’re tired.
Until cancer walked into our lives.
Now “hard” for me looks like watching the person you love fight every single day for more time. It looks like hospital rooms, endless waiting, and a kind of strength you can’t train for. My wife lives that reality. Every day. No finish line. No applause. Just relentless courage.
So this is me stepping into a fraction of that discomfort... choosing something that feels impossible, because what she’s facing is.
The Impossible 6 is exactly that. Six brutal endurance challenges that will test me physically, mentally, and emotionally:
- Welsh 3000s – 15 mountains in 24 hours with over 4000m of ascent
- 24-hour non-stop Peloton ride
- 5-mile open water swim in Coniston
- 6-hour continuous run
- Weighted walk across the Edale Skyline, carrying the weight of our two daughters
- And one final challenge that strips everything back to the raw reality of mindfulness and understanding of Claires struggles.
But this isn’t about fitness. It’s about perspective.
Because no matter how hard this gets… I get to stop.
She doesn’t.
Every step, every mile, every hour is for her fight — for more time, more memories, more ordinary days that suddenly mean everything.
If you’ve ever wondered how to help, this is it.
We need sponsors urgently!
Stand with us. Support her. Be part of something bigger than a challenge.
Because this isn’t just about pushing limits.
It’s about refusing to give up on time.
Thank you for being in our corner.
