Story
Recently one of our Belief members was a patient on the Care of the Elderly ward at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. Despite the best efforts of all the hard working and dedicated staff, the ward came across as being a very lonely place, as there are no televisions on the ward. Televisions would help alleviate boredom, and have a positive effect on patient well being, giving access to news and current events and keep them connected to the world. To install TV's the ward needs special "set up's" as there are no aerial points, so need a special box and software to run the TV service. This would cost around £5,000. A price we believe anyone who has visited the ward will tell you is a price worth paying.
