Story
We'll be taking on this challenge to break the superhero world record for the half marathon to raise money to help towards Rob Bugden's Welfare fund. Rob is a member of the RAF and a British International Athlete. Unfortunately Rob was involved in a parachuting accident back in January of this year. Those of you that know Rob all know he's a bit of hero himself so it seems apt that we try and break the superhero world record. Carwyn Jones and I (Batman and Robin) will be looking to get near the 1.10.00 mark for the distance at the Cardiff Half Marathon on the 2nd of October. The current world record stands at 1.15.39. Any donations large or small would be greatly appreciated, and those out on the course...keep an eye out for batman and robin.
