I've raised £1500 to autism assitance dog

Hi my name is Megan
I am 20 years old and have autism. I also have non epileptic seizures that are linked to my autism. I can have up to 30 seizures a day and the doctors said that there is nothing they can do to help them. My seizures are caused by high anxiety and stress. i was diagnosed in 2017 with autism and other mentel health issues and my seizuers. As i have been getting older i have been finding it harder to contol my anxietys. My parents have been looking into autism assistance dogs that will be picked to suit my needs. They have found that most Charites only train autism dogs for 3 to 10 year olds. They have found an organization that picks and trains the dog towards my needs and train each dog with different skills to assist the person the dog goes to. Due to my seizures it is virtually impossible to find a job. As you can imagine having 30 seizures a day mum and dad’s time is taken up with caring for me. They work opposite shifts but due to cutbacks they have had their hours reduced. You should hear some of the suggestions dad has come up with to try and raise the money. But we found this one the most appropriate.
Getting this dog would start a new chapter in my life as at the moment going out on my own is very dangerous for my health as i often have seizures that have no warning. i would love to be independent and this dog would help with that and help me lead a more independent life. I love singing and everything music but having seizures make it difficult to peruse this route.I would also be able to help out the charity im involved with a lot more.
