I am Angela McHardy and I was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease 3 years ago. Although this diagnosis is life changing, I believe wholeheartedly that a negative mind will never give you a positive life.You cannot let this disease define you, you must create your own definition of this new life. I am a different person now. I think I had too much dopamine before! So, where I used to be annoyingly enthusiastic, now I'm more measured in that enthusiasm! My beloved Dad also had PD...so this is a nod to him too.

I was lucky enough to attend one of Karl Sterlings Parkinsons Regeneration Training workshops in London and it was one of the most rewarding experiences for me. I realise that these workshops are not accessible for all and can indeed be beyond reach financially for many; so with this in mind, I want to provide a platform for those living with PD, their carers and health professionals who may benefit in some way as I have from Karl's programme and so much more.

Myself, and an amazing group of very talented friends are planning a 2 day event in November which will offer : Parkinsons Regeneration Workshop, Yoga, Smovey Coaching, Lingo Live, Vocal Workshops (more to be added dependent on funds raised).That's just our starter for 10! I greatly appreciate any donations no matter how big or small, please help me realise me dream of changing the perception of PD and realising the potential of approaches beyond medication.
