Story
Our local homeless charity, The Matthew 25 Mission, helps to feed the homeless in the Eastbourne area. They offer help and advice to all vulnerable people in the community, but it costs them £21000 a year to do this, relying solely on donations from the public, some local stores (food donations) and volunteers.
I help in my small way, by knitting warm hats, giving them socks and underwear and basic toiletries.
On April 1st, I will be shaving my head and hope to raise as much money for the charity as I can. Please help me to do this by giving what you can. After all, I don't want to look like a docker for nothing!!

8 months agoI can't thank you all enough. Your generosity has exceeded my expectations and together we have raised three times what we first hoped to. A final figure will be coming soon, but it us in excess of £1100. Thank you so much. Amanda

9 months agoThanks to a little flurry of support, I'm over the £300 mark. Still a month to go, so I'm hoping for more donations by DDay! If you or a loved one has ever been homeless or had addiction issues, they would have relied on support from charities like this, so please, dig deep and help me to bust my target. TIA
