Story

We care for over a hundred and fifty seals each year and the cost of the mackerel we feed them while they are in care just keeps on rising. It is now £3,999 for 3 pallets of mackerel.

We understand how most people are also struggling at the moment but hopefully we raise part of the cost of the fish by adding together small donations.

Thank you again you wonderful folks. You have now covered the cost of 6 pallets of fish for our seals. I’m raising the target to 9 pallets and we will see how we get on.

Yeah - we have made it!!! Thank you all for helping us pay for 3 pallets of Mackerel. As we have hit our initial target, I'm going to see if we can raise enough for for another 3 pallets which I will order shortly (we have 30 seals in care today and they are eating us out of house and home). For those of you who have sent fish for Mrs Vicar, I'm afraid to report she is still very, very sick in our isolation unit but we will keep her salty baths and good nutrition going and hope we can help her recover.
