Alexa is 8 and suffers refractory epilepsy which means that she doesn't respond to medication. Alexa suffered over 960 grand mal seizures last year requiring oxygen and spent 7 months of the year in a hospital bed.
With every seizure Alexa risks further damage and potentially life threatening ‘status’ which means seizure does not stop. Alexa is at a high risk of sudden death in epilepsy because rescue meds simply don't work well.
We travelled abroad and a neurologist privately prescribed Cannabis oil in Netherlands and it has helped Alexa safe and away from hospital. Each 10 ml bottle of celixir20 medicine costs over £135 and this is expensive for a full time carer. We cannot access this medicine on the NHS and this means that we are wholly reliant on the private health system and the generosity of the public to help us.

Alexa has been using the oils now with success for 1.5 years, and she is now starting to heal and get stronger and be more aware.
