Story
In life Alan Wilson, as Bishop of Buckingham, courageously fought for the rights and inclusion of various marginalised communities within the Church of England.
Since his sudden passing, we as a family have been comforted to hear of his profound positive impact on people’s lives through his advocacy.
In memory of Alan, we are fundraising for the following two charities, which embody causes close to his heart. Thank you for your generosity.
https://www.onebodyonefaith.org.uk
OneBodyOneFaith is a dynamic grassroots charity that enables LGBT+ Christians and advocates for change within the church, ecumenically and intentionally in partnership with likeminded organisations.
MACSAS supports women and men who have been sexually abused, as children or adults, by ministers, clergy or others under the guise of the Church. We support both Survivors who have remained within their Christian communities and those who have left.
All donations made through this page will be shared equally between these two charities. We will continue to take donations on this page until Saturday 27th April 2024.
