30 years ago we lost a dear friend, brother, and son. John was sadly killed whilst driving his motorbike home on a dark winter's evening. His death was a shock to those that knew and loved him. He was a wonderful person- funny, caring, happy, and talented. Following his death, his friends rallied around to put on a variety show to raise money to purchase a memorial bench that was purchased and placed outside the East Cliff Pavillion. The bench became a place that all his friends and family visited regularly. Sadly the bench fell into disrepair and was removed. We would like to raise enough money to put a new bench in place together with a 10-year service plan so we can enjoy sitting and remembering our amazing friend, brother, and son. We have had the original video of the variety show converted and this will go live before Christmas with a 'Watch Party'!

Any additional money raised will be used to give John's grave a much needed clean and create a fund to keep both the bench and grave in good condition.
