Story

As many of you will know, four and a half years ago, Adam was diagnosed with incurable cancer and given months to live. He was a fit, vibrant, healthy young man. A diligent lawyer, a loving husband and an expectant father. His entire life turned upside down. He had too many tumours to count across his liver, lungs and pancreas.

Thankfully, due to the generous donations we received via his original just-giving, he defied the odds and a mix of alternative treatments and traditional medicine means he is still with us today. Further, despite chemotherapy which should have left him him infertile, he and his wife Chrissy had a second child, Wilf ❤️.

The road to recovery has been unforgiving. Half his liver was removed in a seven-hour surgery to rid the organ of disease. At times during chemo, he was literally killing himself to try and stay alive and that has continued - he developed sepsis this round of treatment and his lungs are also now permanently damaged from the radiotherapy he’s undergone. He now struggles to get up the stairs. That's the irony of such cold, cruel medicines. What’s stood out most is his discipline. The hours of research into alternative treatments, his unwavering commitment to the strictest diets and a supplement regime that professional athletes couldn't match. Adam didn't even flinch. That said, four years in, it cant be denied that Adam’s body is now failing him - the treatment has been relentless and he rarely gets a break.

Unfortunately, we found out this week that Adam’s third line chemo was unsuccessful and that several tumours in his liver have doubled in size. Once again, he’s been given less than a year to live.

This is where, once again, we‘re kindly asking for your help. We‘ve recently been in touch with an oncologist in the States who thinks he can cure Adam using revolutionary intratumoural immunotherapy. This treatment is costly and, unfortunately, not covered by insurance. So, to help pay for this, we are looking to raise £85,000 ($110,000) for the first few rounds of treatment to ensure he has every chance of survival. My family and I pledge to double any donations you can afford. Making every pound you donate stretch twice as far on his road to recovery.

We know this is a tough time of year but, once again, we’re truely grateful for any support you can provide - however small ❤️.

Please share, like, or donate if you can afford to.

Much Love,

The Gray family
