We (juniors and seniors) had a great year in 2016 both on and off the field and we hope to continue this in 2017.

With this in mind . . . 5 of our senior members will be cycling 165 miles in 2 days via every South Wales Premier Cricket League (SWPCL) ground to raise money for the club. We will start the event at Carmarthen Wanderers Cricket Club on Saturday 8th April and finish on Sunday 9th in Penarth. This event is in partnership with the Tom Maynard Trust who provide low level financial support for young cricketers making their way in the game. Over the period in which the Trust has been operating, though, this has expanded and ​their​ work is now focused on three key areas:

We plan to use the funds to support many different initiatives and projects at Penarth Cricket Club. This includes an electronic scoreboard, ground maintenance and coaching equipment for all ages.​ All of which needed updating or replacing.​

We are training harder than ever for this grueling challenge and preparations are going well. We need help from you​ though​!
