Story
St Saviour's Churchyard contains over 100 19th century Military graves. We have identified 76 which need restoring. 43 of these are men who fought in the Peninsular War and some at the Battle of Waterloo.
Military Grave Restorer aka Steve Davies has restored over 600 graves in the past 5 years in the UK, including 2 Victoria Cross graves on a recent visit to the island.
