Story

Glen was born prematurely when i was 28 weeks pregnant with him. Nobody knew if he was going to survive, but thankfully he did. He has undergone several surgeries as a baby and young child, Glen is now 31 years old, he has cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus ( build up of fluid around the brain) . Treatment as a baby and young child corrected, the hydrocephalus, but the effects will always be with him. It affected his vision, to some extent. Glen uses a wheelchair to get around. As he cannot stand or walk. He works hard to keep his upper strength up, in order to transfer from wheelchair to another chair or his bed..He works hard to keep his independance.

Glen is good with money, he takes pride in his ability to save for things he needs. He cannot work, but uses his disability allowance the best he can. He always worries about the future, and how he will manage . He knows he must always have enough money to buy a wheelchair, when he needs a new one.

He was recently scammed of over £10,000 . He is devastated. He feels vulnerable, foolish and so very negative about everything. Which is heartbreaking to see, when we know how hard he works to be upbeat. The bank will not help as they say its his own fault. He contacted the police, and has a crime number, but he will never get his money back

Please help, to give Glen something to believe in, he is feeling very low and negative about everything right now, and he does not deserve that. With everything he has been through, in his life.
