I've raised £75000 to help fund the redevelopment of Devauden Village Hall playground

Our playground has brought so much pleasure to hundreds of children over the years but much of the equipment now needs replacing so we've launched a campaign to transform the playground into an exciting new play space for toddlers and older children alike. But don't worry - we're not going to take away the basket swing, zipwire, mound and tunnel beloved by so many.
In order to make sure we respond to the needs of our local children we asked young visitors to our summer fete in September 2023 what new equipment they would like to see. We had a great response. We then held a second consultation event at the village hall in November of the same year for children and their parents. Again, we received lots of great feedback. When we combined the results of the two consultations, the top four items of new equipment that people wanted to see on the playground were swings and slides (for a range of ages), a sunken trampoline and a multiplay tower. We've now appointed a preferred supplier of playground equipment and are working with them to fine tune our requirements.
The village hall will make a major contribution of £25,000 to our appeal and we'll be applying for as many grants as possible but we still need to fundraise. Playground equipment doesn't come cheap so please, donate if you can!
