Story

A year ago, my Mum died as a result of lots of complications leading from crippling arthritis over a period of 30 years. The incredible staff and resources of the Respiratory Ward from Milton Keynes University Hospital provided the oxygen when she was unable to breathe for herself. Their support helped my Mum to leave her imprint on her Grandchildren; memories and experiences that will help shape them as they grow up.

The Daylight Centre in Wellingborough provides support to those who do not have the same resources in their lives as others. Many people, including myself and my family are fortunate to take certain basic needs for granted. The food bank is used by people of all ages with young families and differing needs. It is heart breaking.

In order to do my bit (!), I am going to run from Wollaston in Shropshire, to Wollaston in the West Midlands to Wollaston in Northants over 3 days; Saturday 6th - Monday 8th April 2019. I want to do something that will be a huge challenge, make me have to deal with some pain and travel through 3 communities that share the same name. It would be nice to bring these communities together in some way; maybe this could be it?
