Entry Form for the Fun Run

Second Stamford Town Scouts have an innovative and ambitious project to rebuild and improve their facilities in Stamford. The existing HQ is in a poor state of repair requiring ongoing maintenance and is not large enough nor fit for purpose and is used mainly for scouting activities with little use by the wider community. We want to change this. Our vision is to provide a flexible space In a modern environmentally efficient design, “bringing the outside in” with plenty of space for indoor and outdoor activities. We want it to be used by other charities and community groups, providing a bustling community hub for new groups to form and existing ones to grow.

The Scout Association is the UK's biggest mixed youth organisation with nearly 620,000 members. We change lives by offering young people fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities.

Here at 2nd Stamford Scouts, we provide Scouting to young people in and around the Stamford area of Lincolnshire.

We are raising funds to build a new multi purpose Scout HQ at our Empingham Road site. This will benefit children of our Scouting family for decades to come!

Our scouts (from all sections) and their families will be taking part in a virtual fun run on 28th/29th November to raise vital funds to build a new Scout HQ for 2nd Stamford Scouts.

A new Scout HQ will enhance our facilities, enabling all our members to continue to do their best in unique experiences, everyday adventure and helping their local community. Scouts are given such wonderful opportunities to learn about the world around them, participate in international events, support local events and help the needy. Please help them to help others.
