Story
The 21st of June is MND awareness day and fathers day, two very important things that deserve as much acknowledgment as we can possibly give them. Therefore Ben and I are planning to walk over the Forth Road Bridge dressed as the FRBridge and the Forth Rail Bridge to raise money for MND Scotland (because the best way to raise money is to do something while looking totally mad right?).
Most will be aware that my mum was diagnosed with MND at the end of last year and it has completely changed our lives, my incredible dad has stepped into the role of carer and taken it in his stride making sure that my mum can continue to be as comfortable as possible.
We have chosen to do this as we want to raise as much awareness for this incredible charity which has help in every way with allowing us to go on incredible trips as a family and to make adjustments in their everyday lives which can help the changes that are happening.
Any money that we can give is another step to finding a cure or a way to help loved ones make the most of the time that they have together.
