Story

Another event successfully completed!!

As cops that drop we were hoping not to have any aches or strains, as cops that trot we were expecting them ! And having been told that I looked like a penguin trying to drag my sorry carcuss down the stairs at work I looked up at Claire and realised exactly what she meant!!

What a day though, an experience that not even the miserable weather could dampen. It was a fantastically organised event that was full of fitness freaks, fun runners and PC Plodders alike but what amazed me most were the amount of entrants who were running for charitable causes - well done all.

With our 11 entrants we will add over £2000 to our growing coffers which will take us near to 50% of our target figure !

It is thanks to you, our generous sponsors, that we have reached this amount so quickly and we cannot thank you enough. Suffice to say that your money will be well spent by The Royal Marsden Hospital.

Look out for our next "COPS THAT...." endeavour and if anybody would like to offer their services then contact me at darren.graysmark@sussex.pnn.police.uk

Lastly a huge thank you and well done to all the runners - you were fab!

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Following on from our successful sky dive as Copsthatdrop we are continuing with our fundraising efforts to try and hit our target of £25,000 for The Royal Marsden Hospital by dragging our tortured torsos around the Great South Run course down in Portsmouth on 28/10/2007.

We are training hard and a ban has been put on all doughnut and cake eating sessions up until after the race.

Up to the birth of this page we have raised over £7,000 which is fantastic but we still have a long way to go before we hit our target figure.
