Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet - the noise of the engines and wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph!

Hospitality Action, the Hospitality Industry Benevolent Organisation, helps hospitality people who have fallen on hard times. For over 170 years they have been at the forefront of the industry providing specialist support to all who work, or who have worked within Hospitality in the UK and who through no fault of their own find themselves in crisis.

Hospitality Action supports people.......

* Suffering from long term illness such as Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Cancer

* Experiencing poverty, bereavement and domestic violence

* With sick and disabled children

All of the money raised goes towards.....

* Grants for essential items such as food, clothing and central heating

* Supporting the often isolated and lonely retired hospitality workers

* Holding seminars via The Ark Foundation to tackle the excessive efects of drugs and alcohol for industry students and employees
