Story
The CMAS Pink Ladies (Vhernie, Alina, Tina, Lizzie, Vicky, Ellie, Humera, Roz, Alma, Sophie and Karen) are back and joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. We are racing for life in support of the amazing Louise Wisson, the wife of our colleague and friend, as she looks to raise £100k+ for her four favourite Cancer Charities (Cancer Research UK, The Eve Appeal, Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Macmillan). Louise has faced life with a rare form of cancer (Primary Peritoneal Cancer) since December 2012 and in February 2016 had to take the difficult decision to stop chemo as it became too toxic. She has tirelessly fundraised and promoted awareness of this rare cancer, whilst battling with it, for the last 3 years. Louise is 37 years old and has received a Point of Light award from David Cameron in recognition of her positive mental attitude through cancer. We're picking up the baton for Louise this year to run another race for life.
Please visit Louise's positive mental attitude blog at louisewisson.com. If you would like to support The Eve Appeal, please visit: https://www.justgiving.com/teams/LouiseWissonBlog
We will receive £2,750 matched funding from PwC, so your donation will have added impact for CRUK.
