Story
A Clyde & Co team consisting of Tom Roberts, Iain Rowlands and Jaime Albors from MIT1 in London will be taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge on 20–23 June 2014.
The team will attempt to climb three of the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales; Ben Nevis, Helvellyn and Snowdon, within 24 hours and in the fastest time possible, in aid of the Sailors' Society.
The Sailors' Society provides a personal lifeline for seafarers throughout the world. Existing to enrich and enhance the well-being of the world's 1.2 million seafarers, the charity offers practical help, emotional and spiritual support, financial assistance and family liaison through Port Chaplains and Seafarers' Centres. The Sailors' Society Port Chaplains visit thousands of ships every year, directly addressing the needs of seafarers - irrespective of belief or nationality - as well as maintaining vital links within the Ports that they operate.
