Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Mia was born in July 2001 after a normal pregnancy. Within a few hours she was diagnosed with complex heart defects and had palliative surgery six days later. Shortly before her first birthday Mia had a second successful palliative surgery. She is now a bubbly three and a half year old! Mia is due to have open heart surgery in the next few weeks. I'm running the London Marathon this year to raise money for The Association for Children with Heart Disorders.
