Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the London to Brighton bike ride to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. A number of Lambeth councillors will be joining the Mayor, Cllr Christopher Wellbelove, and the Leader of Lambeth Council, Cllr Steve Reed, to cycle the 54 mile journey, starting from Lambeth's Clapham Common, joining the A23 and ending on the promenade at Brighton (or in the sea if brakes fail). The ride takes place on Sunday 21 June 2009.
I will be cycling the 54 miles on my pride and joy - Walter, my Pashley - hand-built by England's longest established cycle manufacturer. Pashley Cycles was established in 1926 and based in Stratford- upon-Avon.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So let's help tackle the threat of heart disease. Please sponsor me now!
