Climate Change is a global problem that is happening now.Climate change affects the poor first and worst and the injustice is that these communities and countries are least responsible for the productions of greenhouse gases that contribute to global climate change.
Oxfam are a leading
charity organisation that is monitoring global climate change and confronting the issues.
Having been a spectator at the
London marathon my mind is now turning to applying for the
London Marathon 2010We can all do "our bit" by taking action to prevent climate change but the power of voice that organisations such as Oxfam have are most likely to be heard by international governments who can ensure actions to reduce greenhouse gasses are taken and
global warming reversed.
Living in the UK it can be difficult to see the effects of climate
change and view global warming as part of our peculiar weather. Our
weather has always been notoriously inconsistent. A few hot days in
summer, short cold snaps in winter, the odd late spring frost and heavy
rain year round. Little to convince the man in the street that climate
change is having dramatic effects on the world - destroying homes and
crops,
