On the 3rd of June last year, I lost a good friend in Andrew Reeves, and his passing affected a huge number of people. On the anniversary of his death, I decided I wanted to do something to raise money for British Heart Foundation in his memory - but what? Those of you that know me know I'm not exactly sporty, so running/swimming/jumping was out of the question...

So I'm giving up my vices. For the month of July, I will not use Twitter or Facebook. I will also not eat takeaways. On the 2nd of July, I will be doing a sponsored silence, and on the 31st I will shave off my beautiful beard. I hope that these things will be enough to extract some money from you! Please give generously.
