All of us are affected by cancer in one way or another - my dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer in August 2007 and has been receiving chemotherapy ever since. 

I haven't been able to be around much for him, or my my mum, because of my job and having to go away but this marathon is one thing I can do to help.

Thanks for sponsoring me whatever you can; I know we're always getting asked to sponsor this that and the other but I really do appreciate it.

Keep an eye out for me on the big day - I'll be the one getting overtaken by the human caterpillar - the rhinos will be way ahead!!
