On the 28th of July, Claire and myself will be embarking on our biggest ride to date! 40miles over 2 days and approx 13 hrs of saddle time with our beautiful barefoot and bitless steeds, Bella and Cougar. With just a compass, a map and some (hopefully) common sense, we will leave Brentor at 9am and make our way over moor and dale ending up just this side of Widecombe on the moor. We will stay the night in a B&B before returning home the following day! It's a big challenge but one we are looking forward to smashing! In doing this we are hoping to raise some cash for CHICKS who do a fab job of blessing underpriveleged kids and they always slow down for us when we are out and about on our horses!
