Story
Jum-reap-soo! That’s HELLO in Cambodian.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So this summer, I’ll be going on an expedition to Cambodia! I will be spending 3 weeks teaching and assisting in schools in Samraong, which is a town close to the Thai border. While I’m there, I’ll be working with, and supporting a local charity, Greenway, in their daily work. Basically, its an amazing opportunity to give back to society and to make a difference.
However, in order for me to go there, I’ll have to raise £2200, of which half of the money will go into the expedition and the other half will be split between 3 different charities:
i) BURMA EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP - www.burmaeducationpartnership.org
ii) FUTURESENSE - www.futuresensefoundation.org
iii) A Cambodian charity (to be confirmed)
As you can see, it’s A LOT to raise. But I hope you agree that it all goes to a good cause. So, dig into your pockets, open your wallets, go to the bank…and please donate as much (or as little) as you can. Make a difference *wink wink*
Aakoon. (THANK YOU in Cambodian). J
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
