We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for your help in donating! Our team came 4th in the Nomura Challenge out of 13 teams and it was a great 24 hours of racing!

http://www.cogitoathlete.com/2011/07/raise1000forcharity/

To raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, I will be taking part in a gruelling challenge in the Brecon Beacons (Wales for those of you who don’t know..). The main parts of the challenge are an 18 mile hike, a 15 mile cycle, a 1.5 mile run and a 9 mile canoe race and EVERY SINGLE PENNY YOU DONATE WILL GO DIRECTLY TO CHARITY. I have already paid all of my costs and made donations to get things moving.

I hate asking, but it’s a cause worthwhile. Teenage Cancer Trust specialise in 13 to 24 year olds with cancer, providing funding for research for cures and treatment, provide support networks and build specialist cancer units in hospitals amongst other things. Not asking for much, a £5 or £10 here or there. Even £1!!! Whatever you can spare :D

To see how hard I've been training for the challenge, look here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkFtV2eUcYM
