Hi! Thanks for dropping in.

So you wonder why the city girl decided to commit to this Trek in war-torn Middle East. It's a landmark birthday for me this November (no prizes for guessing/ knowing my age!)

I'm not rich or famous, but I’ve reached a certain stage of “comfort” where I am capable of offering more of myself to others. I want both to do something with my presence in this world, and also in the process expanding my horizons and break personal limits.

This mission called out to me because it aligns perfectly with me – breaking out of the city-scape and in the process raise awareness and funds for women survivors of war, victims of human trafficking, and rape.

FYI - your donations go DIRECTLY to the charities. I'm funding my own trip (unless you'd like to donate to my bank account..? POSB/ UOB direct transfer available! :P )

UPDATE - This trip is not a trip to visit victims.

This is really a trip anyone could do "anytime" (in various levels of difficulty). However, this was organised by a group of relatively "comfortable" females who have made the clear decision on going the step further with the fundraising aspect (where your money will be going to) for organisations that do the main work with the victims.

If you're one to prefer to get down and dirty instead of monetary donations when dealing with charities, please at least help spread the word with my www.justgiving.com/chinfee page, because "raising awareness" is the key purpose of my Middle East Desert Trek!
