Story

In October, I’m doing something I don’t usually do in – running 10k!  Training has started and the countdown has commenced.  Please spur me on to complete this challenge by sponsoring me today.

My chosen charity is a small but ambitious educational and animal welfare charity called the RCVS Trust.  For over 50 years, the charity has supported animals and the people who care for them by running a large library and by making grants to support a huge range of practical and research projects.

Your sponsorship will help lots of different projects taking place both in the and overseas.  For example at the moment the Trust is funding a study looking at vaccination campaigns and community awareness of rabies in parts of Africa, research into TB in cats, an indepth study into ageing and regeneration in dogs and a project looking at mental health, wellbeing and suicide in the veterinary profession.

For anyone who hasn’t used Justgiving before – it’s fast, simple and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate to my run today
