In this time, we are all effected in some way by the C word.
This is my contribution and a repeat of something I attempted in 2015. - But did not finish, getting to 187m/204. before I ran out of steam and day light. -This will not happen this year.
Chase the sun is a physical, motivational and navigational cycling challenge which takes place on the summer solstice each year. With only 17 hours of daylight to conquer over 200+ miles of cycling, it runs coast to coast across the UK from east west. It is a group ride to experience, endure and savour the diverse geography, history, and weather of the country. From sunrise to sunset spend every minute of the years longest day on two wheels .
0435am until +945pm. 204m, 8300ft. 1 Day, 1 Go. This a a free event that is a coast to coast across southern England, Starts Isle-of-Sheppey, Minster, finshes Burnham on Sea.
This is 36hrs after finishing the NC500. This gives me a total of 750 Miles in 7 Days. And my biggest ever feat on a bike (in a Week) What better way to finish than helping raise money for CRUK.
