I'm running the Virgin London Marathon this year, and I have chosen to support Anthony Nolan, which is a UK charity that works to help people with blood cancer.  

My dear Grandad is currently undergoing treatment for this type of cancer, and I want to raise more awareness of what can be done to help those like him. The charity don't just seek donations in the form of money, but also aim to get as many people as possible to sign up to be Bone Marrow Donors, potentially saving lives.

Unfortunately, I can't go round taking sponsership in the form of life saving Bone Marrow! So my aim is to do the next best thing, and raise as much as possible for the charity. Any amount will make a difference to this amazing charity.
