Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Starting on 3rd June 2015, I am taking part in a 260km bike ride in France (which is almost the same as three back to back London to Brightons) along with 10 other work colleagues, where we’ll be cycling from Orleans via Poitiers. This is to raise money for my chosen charity Chestnut Children’s Hospice, along with 9 local hospices and The Rockinghorse Appeal through sponsorship from our company’s clients.
Over the past few years the Cellular Solutions team (where I work ) have raised over £111,000 – so with your help this event will help take us over the £140,000 mark – with the aim of reaching £250,000 over the next two years from our cycling fundraising.
For my personal
fundraising target I am looking to raise £500+ for Chestnut Children’s Hospice.
It’s hard to imagine that a child may only
have a small time here with us. Chestnut
care for the last stages in a child’s life and with only an 8% grant from the
government they rely on our donations to help them give a child the best
possible care they deserve in an environment that feels like home for them. I
have visited Chestnut on a recent volunteering gardening day and was nearly
bought to tears from the truly applauding work that they do. I’m trying to do
my bit my giving them some money to help fund such a worthy cause and asking
you to sponsor me cycling! J
Cellular Solutions will also
match like for like any funds we raise up to £5,000. Our overall total
fundraising target for the event is £30,000. Every donation will help towards
this figure that will make a significant difference to those less fortunate
than ourselves. Every penny donated goes to charity and not towards the costs
of the event thanks to sponsorship of the event by one of our network partners.
Donating through JustGiving is simple,
fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never
sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money
directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time
and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now – I will be EXTREMELY GRATEFUL! J J J
