Chiswick House Charity Cricket Match – 11:00am, 11th June 2011
Dear All,
Cancer is usually considered to be a curse of the elder generation and its prevalence in children is often underestimated. However each day, 46 children are diagnosed with cancer and one in 330 children will develop cancer by age 20. Although cure rates are steadily increasing cancer remains the number one disease killer of children; more than genetic anomalies, cystic fibrosis, and AIDS combined.
This is why we have chosen to support Clic Sargent. Clic Sargent is a charity that concentrates on caring for children suffering from cancer.
Clic Sargent works tirelessly to increase awareness of child cancer and push the development of child specific treatment. However, what they also provide is crucial support not only for the patients but to their family too, often paying for accommodation/travel expenses for family etc.. so that a child will always have the comfort and care of a loved one during their treatment.
We would like to invite you to support Clic Sargent with us by attending a charity cricket game in the grounds of one of London’s finest houses, Chiswick House. http://www.chgt.org.uk/
Please feel free to bring family and friends and explore one of London’s best kept secrets.
If you would like to attend the cricket on the 11th June 2011, we would suggest a minimum donation of £10 per adult and £5 per child. However, if you are unable to attend please feel free to make a donation towards this worthwhile cause.
Please email sjones@bfl.co.uk for more information and so I can have an idea of how many people will be attending on the day.
We sincerely hope you can join us.
Kind Regards
Sebastian Jones
