WE MADE IT!!!! Emma took us over the barrier of 60 Nautical Miles (which actually translates to a whopping £111.12 km). We managed this at around 17.10 this afternoon, after being on the machine from 9am! At one point there was the slight smell of smoke coming from the work-out room but I suppose the possibility of an emergency evacuation only added to the excitement....

Thanks to everyone has donated and who will continue to donate!!! And a MASSIVE thanks to Fitness Hire, without whom the Cross-Trainer wouldn't even exist in our office. You have all helped to change the lives of so many children.

Why are we doing this? Well we figured that we send so many people on challenges every year, and help people raise so much money for various charities, that we thought we'd practice what we preach and take on a staff all-day challenge, cross-training the entire distance of our North Pole trek!! (sledge pulling not included...)

From 9-5.30pm the office cross-trainer will be going all day, in the hopes of doing at least 60 miles between us. Can we do it? Who knows!!
